Mos Def 

‘I dont want to waste anyones time ir money. I want to give people some truth and positive heart lift’ – mos def.

This qoute tells us that mos deaf wants to help people feel better not waste their money or time, he just wants people to get the better out of themselfs. Also it shows that he cares for others and he is mindfull and not selfish.

In my opinion image 1 sticks out to me because it shows children playing and riding bikes in the ends where it is really messy and the fire hydrant was broken and water was spraying everywhere.

  2. “Like city lights stay throbbing” – creates image of the city as restless always movingg , always bright.
  3. “Thirsty criminals take pockets” – image of criminals which makes us think about how crime runs in the inner city.
  4. “Cant tell between the cops and robbers” – everyone is the same they all commint crimes

How is the inner city presented in respiration by mos def ? 

Mos def uses many sentence to create an image of the inner city, one qoute that stood out is “cant tell between the cops and the robbers, they both paretners, they all heartless” this tells me that mos def is saying that everyone is the same in the way that even the police commit crimes. He uses the word heartless which we would normally use to describe someone as uncaring, and he says that they are both uncaring.
